Vanessa Hudgens has been a lot of things over the years — a Disney breakout, a movie star, a festival-style icon. These days, she’s also a mom of two, firmly in her newborn era. And according to her latest Instagram post, the difference between those chapters is very real.

On Sunday, December 28, the 37-year-old High School Musical alum shared a throwback photo of herself in a hot pink one-piece and oversized sunglasses while perched on top of a table, calling it a snapshot from “simpler times.”

“Well I haven’t gone to any holiday parties or even leave the home this holiday season. Newborn life lol so here’s a photo of me in simpler times where I danced on tables,” Hudgens wrote in the caption. “What a year it’s been. From this to mom of 2…. What a journey ❤️.”

It didn’t take long for fans to flood the comments section.

“Range! She does it all 🔥❤️ Mother, Mutha, Muva,” one person wrote.

“Gave birth 5 minutes ago… already in better shape than me,” another teased.

“Hopefully one day I look as good as you feel in this picture 😍,” chimed in a third.

“Wooow😍 you will always be a goddess!!!” someone else said.

“Once a baddie, always a baddie mama🙌❤️,” added another.

For anyone who missed the update, Hudgens and her husband, former MLB player Cole Tucker, welcomed their second child last month. She shared the news on InstagramNovember 29, writing, “Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do ❤️.”

The new arrival marks another milestone for the couple, who married in December 2023 after meeting during the pandemic through a virtual meditation group. “He’s just kind of perfect for me,” Hudgens told Entertainment Tonight in 2021. “I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. And I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”

As for Tucker, 29, he’s mostly stayed out of the spotlight, but during a brief chat with ET at Game 3 of the 2025 World Series in October, he couldn’t help but gush over Hudgens, calling her a “rock star” and a “super mom” as they awaited the arrival of baby No. 2.
