Donald Trump says 'there are the makings of a deal that is good for everybody' to end the war in Ukraine.



Volodymyr Zelenskyy is meeting with the US President at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida for negotiations, which Ukraine's President said are moving forward.


He told journalists the pair will discuss a step-by-step strategy for ending the war.


The pair praised European leaders for their efforts to bring about a resolution, and said they would call them during their talks.


The US President said that Putin is serious about peace, and that both leaders want peace. 


He added that he will speak to the Russian President after his meeting with Zelenskyy
