The force of a flash flood destroyed the Gunuang Nago Project Bridge in Padang City, cutting the connection between Pauh and Kuranji sub-districts in Indonesia this morning.

 



- In Padang City, Indonesia, a flash flood triggered by Cyclone Senyar destroyed the Gunuang Nago Bridge, severing the connection between Pauh and Kuranji districts; the bridge's collapse is clearly visible in the video, endangering workers and vehicles. - Cyclone Senyar, a rare tropical storm in the Strait of Malacca, caused heavy rains in Sumatra from November 25-27, 2025; floods and landslides claimed at least 23 lives, submerged hundreds of homes, and prompted BNPB rescue teams to be dispatched to the area. 

- On the same day, a 6.6 magnitude earthquake was felt off the coast of Padang, adding further strain to flood victims and complicating evacuation efforts; experts note that climate change is increasing the frequency of such events.
