There are huge arrests everywhere in Tanzania. So far, 816 people have lost their lives. Tomorrow, people are planning to continue the demonstrations.

- The post reports a nationwide blackout in Tanzania at 9:15 PM local time, alongside internet and radio shutdowns, mass arrests, and 816 protester deaths, aligning with opposition Chadema party's claims of over 700 fatalities from post-election violence verified by Amnesty International at a minimum of 100.

- These events follow the October 29, 2025, presidential election, where incumbent Samia Suluhu Hassan secured victory amid fraud allegations and the barring of key opposition candidates, sparking three days of Gen Z-led demonstrations demanding electoral reforms.
